PATURA special steel wire achieves 9 times longer service life than commercially available galvanised wire and 3 times longer service life than normal thick galvanised wire due to special thick galvanisation with a mixture of 95% zinc and 5% aluminium. The adhesion of the zinc layer to the steel core is significantly improved by the admixture of aluminium.
